Well I have redone my calculations and it is in fact only 61 days unti I leave the shores of the UK. It is a little worrying as I do have amaths degree after all, but there you go!!
Still looking around at all the stuff here in the house and thinking what am going to do with it. Some of the furniture has been claimed by family and friends, and we are having a table top sale at church at the end of July so lots of bits an bobs can go on there.
Well time to sort something!

Well Hello All
This is a new experience for me, and how successful I will be with it remains to be seen!!
I have decided to start 'blogging' as I am about to embark on a new stage of my life as I move to Karachi, Pakistan, to become Deputy Head of the British Overseas School. I would like to keep a record of my thoughts and feelings about this and also what happens over the next couple of years.
Well at the moment it's 73 days to departure and although I do feel a little apprehensive about the move, I am mostly excited at what the future might hold, in a new job, in a new country.
So, there is still a lot to sort out, in terms of paperwork, and what I am going to take and what I am going to leave, etc etc.
